Ambassador Pou Sothirak, Executive Director of the Cambodian Institute for Cooperation and Peace attended the 57th CSCAP Steering Committee Meeting on 6 December 2022 and the 13th General Conference from 7-9 December 2022 which was held at the ASEAN Secretariat in Jakarta, Indonesia. He attended these two meetings in his capacity as CSCAP – Cambodia. This is the first time that the CSCAP network has reconvened these meetings in person since Covid-19 broke out at the end of 2019.
The agenda of the 57th CSCAP Steering Committee Meeting on 6 December includes a Meeting of the CSCAP Finance Committee; the Meeting of the CSCAP Planning Committee; and the 57th CSCAP Steering Committee Meeting.
The agenda for the 13th General Conference from 7-9 December 2022 includes Panel I: Great Power Competition and Competing Regional Order; Panel II: ASEAN Centrality and Security Challenges in the Region; Panel III: Economic Security; Panel IV: Global Health Cooperation: Lessons from the Pandemic; Panel V: Impact of War in Ukraine to Indo-Pacific Region; and Panel VI: Prospect of the ASEAN Outlook on Indo-Pacific.
