On Thursday & Friday, 21 – 22 July 2022, the Cambodian Institute for Cooperation and Peace (CICP) and the Stimson Center co-organized a conference on the “Mekong – US Partnership Track 1.5 Policy Dialogue with a thematic focus on Human Resources and Capacity-Building” with the support from the US State Department at Himawari Hotel, Phnom Penh and via Zoom.
The conference was participated by many experts from the region who shared their perspectives and experience on the non-traditional issue such as the improvement of health, education, gender, and push for the betterment of all recipients’ countries in the Mekong. The US remains committed to cooperating and supporting the development and progress in the Mekong with the demonstration of broad interest in engaging with the region on a critical set of issues.
