On 27 July 2021, the Cambodian Institute for Cooperation and Peace and the Asia Foundation organized a Virtual Launch of the ‘CambodiaCheck’ digital platform. This fact-checking initiative is supported by the US Embassy in Cambodia and created to counter misinformation about Cambodia, helping to promote better image and understanding of the kingdom on various foreign policy options the country undertakes. The online participants actively engaged, provided useful comments and feedback to further develop this new online platform.
