On 21 April 2021, Amb. Pou Sothirak, CICP’s Executive Director, took part in a track-2 Southeast Asia working group on Myanmar organized by the Centre for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) Indonesia to discuss strategies of how ASEAN can assist Myanmar to resolve the current crisis. This is a timely initiative as concerns are mounting whether state actors as well as regional and international institutions can respond effectively to the crisis.
