On 26-27 October 2020, CICP organized a two-day virtual conference on Sustainable Development and the Future of the Mekong. There has been good attendance reflecting serious interests among national and external participants on issues related to sustainable development and the future of the mighty River. The new Mekong-US Partnership initiative will assist lower Mekong countries to address confronting non-traditional security aspects and issues related to sustainable development in this sub-region. CICP thanks all role players and the participants very much for their interest and contributions. We wish to also express our sincere appreciation to the US Embassy in Cambodia for their valuable supports.
