On 8 September 2020, during a CICP-organized virtual launching of the 3rd Edition of the Journal of the Greater Mekong Studies, Amb. Pou Sothirak emphasizes that the new volume of JGMS examines immediate and long term effects of Covid-19 and its impacts on the development of ASEAN, the future of various sub-regional cooperation institutions, the dynamic of human development and economic growth throughout SE Asia.The virtual meeting also included a keynote address by Mr. Benjamin Wohlauer, Deputy Chief of Mission of the US Embassy in Cambodia. A penal discussion was then followed by 4 top regional experts to deliberate various important issues pertinent to the Mekong region during and after Covid-19.
