Call for Papers: Journal of Greater Mekong Studies, Volume 08
Volume 08, June 2025
The Journal of Greater Mekong Studies (JGMS), published by the Cambodian Institute for Cooperation and Peace (CICP), is pleased to invite submissions of manuscripts for its upcoming issue. The journal is dedicated to fostering informed dialogue and advancing scholarly research on the political, security, economic, socio-cultural, and environmental dimensions of the Greater Mekong Subregion (GMS).
Scope and Themes
We welcome original research articles, review essays, and policy briefs that explore topics including but not limited to:
The JGMS publishes work from diverse disciplinary perspectives—political science, international relations, economics, sociology, anthropology, law, and more—and encourages both theoretical and applied contributions. Submissions must provide fresh insights and ideally offer policy relevance for stakeholders in the GMS.

Submission Guidelines
- Manuscript Length: Research articles should be 3000 to 4000 words (including references), while review essays and policy briefs may vary from 2,000–3,000 words.
- Format: Manuscripts should be double-spaced, with references in APA style (7th edition).
- Abstract: Each submission must include an abstract of no more than 250 words and up to five keywords.
- Originality: Submissions must be original, previously unpublished work, and not under consideration elsewhere.
- Peer Review: All submissions will undergo a rigorous blind peer review process to ensure the highest academic standards.

- Notification of Acceptance: April 1, 2025
- Publication Date: June 2025
